REQUIREMENTS - Anyone applying for this position must have experience in the following:
* A strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, client/server application development, web technologies (Servlets, JSP and Java script) and SQL/Database programming.
* Experience with object oriented design, UML, XML, and relational databases.
* Experience and working knowledge of Tomcat. http://www.ChetanaS.org
* Must be self motivated and able to work in a close team environment.
* Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
PLUSES - Experience in any of the following areas is desired but not required:
* Familiarity and knowledge of open source frameworks and tools such as Ofbiz, Struts, Velocity, Spring, Jasper Report.
* Unit testing and defect resolution during development and integration.
* Knowledge of Flex, ActionScript with development of Rich Internet Applications (RIA) is an asset.
* Acquaintance with Extreme Programming and agile development processes.
* Familiarity with Linux.
